When the 88" Twin-Cam cam out it was referred to as the "Castlehead" in Australia, never heard it here in the US, probably isn't used back in Oz anymore either.......

I can't find anywhere that Blockhead is mentioned.

The Ironhead is a Sportster from 1985 or before. 86 to date is called an Evolution engine.

Back in 2000, when I took the factory tour at the York Pa plant, the tour guide said that the twin cam 88 was termed the "big head".

The Evo has been called Blockhead ever since I can remember. I've got a blockhead script pin that I picked up at a swap meet back in about '89. I've never heard a nickname for the twin-cam though.

Cant forget about the XA or the Sport Twin with the flat twin. Different is all I'd call it.

"Twinkie" sounds kinda gay. Let's just call'em Pot-heads and be done with it. Just sayin'...
