When the 88" Twin-Cam cam out it was referred to as the "Castlehead" in Australia, never heard it here in the US, probably isn't used back in Oz anymore either.......

The Ironhead is a Sportster from 1985 or before. 86 to date is called an Evolution engine.

Back in 2000, when I took the factory tour at the York Pa plant, the tour guide said that the twin cam 88 was termed the "big head".

BlockHeads & Twinkies all I've ever heard them refereed to , fathead may have been tossed out at an owner or two maybe .

The Evo has been called Blockhead ever since I can remember. I've got a blockhead script pin that I picked up at a swap meet back in about '89. I've never heard a nickname for the twin-cam though.

My motor is an Evo and the twin cams are called Twinkie.
I've been called a blockhead a few times (Rest in peace Dad, I miss you)

Cant forget about the XA or the Sport Twin with the flat twin. Different is all I'd call it.

"Twinkie" sounds kinda gay. Let's just call'em Pot-heads and be done with it. Just sayin'...
