I have been doing alot of reading about rides and runs, and the East Coast Gypsy Run sounds like an absolute dream. Tons of like minded bikers out for a long weekend of fun. Has anyone taken the ride in the past and what were their experiences like?

 

I was walking out the door last year and had something come up, but from what i've read and talked to people about it, I gotta make it this year. There is also one in NC/SC in April, The Revenge Run. Looks good too.

I have read about the revenge run also, it sounds like a blast. Its a bit of a hike to get down there to do it though. If I am laid off come April I am in though.

There is also a run similar to the Revenge Run in the fall called the Lightning Run. It is in moonshine country western NC and TN I believe. It sounds like another killer ride.

 

I've heard of that one too. Nice to see the East Coast is coming up with these killer rides that the West coast has had.
A couple of more are Big Mountain Run, NC/TN and Mountainfest, WVA.

 

I wish there was one around the Great Lakes. Some seriously pretty scenery and fun roads here.

 

I really want to do the Gypsy Run this year.

 

I know everyone has busy lives, but maybe we can try and get a group together to hook up for this years Gypsy Run. I think that it would be an AWESOME check to put on the lifes todo list. Maybe we should start a thread on the "runs" board. No pressure, but just put it out there that anyone interested will have a place to meet up and join the ride.
