Looks awesome Clammy! You just did the black wrinkle tool box a couple weeks ago. You still happy with that? I am thinking about going that route on my train.

Thanks man.

The toolbox turned out really well. Check the pics in my thread on it: https://www.hdforums.com/m_790956/tm.htm

Cheers!

Looks great, Clammy! I like that look, but how comfortable is that for a long ride? Never driven with apes before, just curious.

Thanks!

I think it'll be fine on longer rides. In the little bit of riding I've done so far with the new bars, I've noticed that I don't seem to get pushed back, at highway speed, as much as when I had the mini-apes on. With the mini-apes, my arms would get stretched right out, and I felt like I was hanging on for dear life if I had a good headwind. With the new bars, even in a headwind, my arms are staying nicely bent, and I don't have to squeeze the grips as hard, making it a lot more comfortable. I also noticed that I sit right into the back of my seat now, so I guess I was leaning a little forward with the mini-apes. The true test will be a long roadtrip, but I think that will have to wait until after the winter. [:'(] [:'(][:'(][:'(][:'(][:'(]

Cheers!
