Smallest DOT Helmet - Anyone ever tried 'em?

I just got a Outlaw carbon fiber, it is small. Size L outer dimensions are about 10 1/4 by 8 1/4 by 5ish high. On the site you can see the pic of the underside, there is not a lot of thick soft padding.
I can only compare it to a random half helmet I bought at a local Honda shop, and it is absolutely tiny compared to it.
