Default Is biker gel worth it?

Is biker gel inserts in a seat worth it? Im looking at either getting a danny gray weekday 2up xl or c&c sport touring for my fat bob. What's any opinion on either seat. Thi will be my first custom seat purchase so just trying to get some input. Thank you.

The gel is absolutely worth the few extra bucks. I've had a LePera Silhoutte with gel for a few years now, and I can stay in the saddle all day right next to my buds on the touring bikes.

Definitely agree...don't know about the gel seat insert, but memory foam is AWESOME. MCC can do both so recommend you give them a try before dunking alot of $$$ into new seat.

I have no first hand knowledge of this since I don't have a gel seat, but guys in Florida that do say if you don't have something to cover the seat with in the sun it'll almost boil the gel and burn the H _ _ L out of you.

I had Mean City redo my Danny Gray with both memory foam and gel, so I can't tell you about the gel on its own, but overall the seat is way better.

Biker gel? Is that like KY?

Just take those Dr. Scholl footpads out of your shoes and put them in your underwear. That way, they won't heat up in the sun when you park your bike. You'll be gellin' like a felon.
