Windshield Recommendation

Hi Chris - came across your post and thought I'd give you our recommendation after 24 years in the windshield business.
Ideally, we'd recommend that you be able to see over the shield by 1-1.5" while sitting in a normal riding position and looking at a reference point about 50' out in front of you on the ground. For our shields with the recurve option, that height gives you a good sight line and the protection you are hoping for.

it really depends on how much wind you want to block. like the others have said, don't get one you can't see over.
I bought a Slip Streamer Tombstone for the Sportster. quite inexpensive, and takes the wind/pressure off of yer chest, but keeps your head and arms in the wind.

Went with the Windvest myself. Looks good, works good...for me anyway. Worth looking into...
