Scenic, very nice riding in the area, but hardly worth the trip for the view of the canyon. The overlook only allows a view down to the river below, surrounded by trees. The real adventurous can hike the trail down to the bottom, but must come back up, ugh!

Cool, never heard of this but I might take a ride out here in the spring.

I will have to add it to my List for this year.

Been there a couple times. Great ride along the river down the canyon! Scenic...The whole area is nice. If you stay in Wellsboro (the main town), there is an old diner on corner of main...excellent. There is also couple steak houses on main street.
We say every year we will go.....only made it twice, hopefuly this year!

My club made a trip there a couple of years ago.
Not worth the ride in my opinion.

Here's a pic of the canyon. The roads all around that
area are great. Nice town, Wellsboro, biker friendly.

Nice pics and a nice trip. I use to live in Galeton over in Potter county and would ride out to Wellsboro all the time. One thing though, when I was there that road you see in the picture is not open to motorized vehicles. Bicycles or walking only, was a pretty stiff fine if you were caught riding a mc on it. Things may have changed but check before you go. You can contact the 2 state parks on either side, Leonard Harrison or Colton Point state parks.
