Default Stencil for bar and shield logo??

i am going to get my bike repainted and was wondering if a stencil is used when they paint on the bar and shield logo and where i could get it??

Are you sure its not just a decal under the clear coat?

You didn't give any info about your bike so it makes it hard to help you.

I think he's asking what they do during a repaint, not what's currently on his bike.

Stencils are commonly used in airbrushing and I'm sure a custom painter would use one to put a bar and shield on your bike, but he'd probably just make his own. If it's Harley repaiting to factory specs, they'd probably use a decal.

Your painter would download a "vector" and using a plotter cut it out and viola. It's not that big of deal really. Screw the decal crap, paint is nicer.

I make my own for various things here at the house. Mainly for stencils for airbrush practice or stickers for the cage(great for making originals you can't get from MOCO).

Hmm... good questions. Perhaps your painter would know?
