I saw an article abut how someone installed a micro switch on the switch housing to activate a garage door opener...the article hads nice closeup pics and instructions, parts list etc.

Anyone have a link for that article??

there is also an article out there that allows you to wire the garage door remote to your high beam switch. as you drive towards your house, flick the highbeams and the garage opens.

yes, this example is on a sportbike, but that should not matter.

 

I did that mod..I smile every time I use it...took about an hour to complete.
