Default HD rental in Vegas ???

Hi every1,

last year we toured two weeks in Florida on a rented HD from Eaglerider. As we really enjoyed this, we plan to fly back now to Las Vegas in May ( 8 - 22 ) and would appreciate if anyone of you knows other rental companies in the Vegas-area then Eaglerider ?

Greets and thanks in advance,
Steven & Karine

I was curious since Vegas is in my backyard so to speak and my home/business airport. (about all I do at Vegas unless entertaining visiting family) Just about everyone it seems uses and has been happy with LVHD but I believe they are an Eaglerider site.

Vistavette on page 2 in this thread has a direct contact name and number you might try.

Why are you against using Eaglerider? Good Luck with your search and post up as the trip time gets closer as to where you would like to go, what you would like to see. (if you want some ride route advice)

Las Vegas Harley Davidson has a very active rental program.. used them in 2008 for a 10 day tour of the southwest.. You need to call early because they may not have the bike you need.. No complaints with the bike or dealer..

I have used LVHD for the last two years, as has an associate. Good experience. Late model bikes in good condition. Good customer service. We are using them again in March.

Las Vegas Harley Davidson is very good. Large selecton. Have rented from them twice and not dissapointed either time. Just do it early though because they rent tons of bikes.

I called Las Vegas HD just yesterday to try to rent a bike for 10 days in August. I was told they currently only have 7 rental bikes, but if I call back in February, they plan to have around 30. They would not let me reserve a bike now. They insisted that I wait until they actually have the rental in-house.

Their # is (702) 431-8500

Look at Route 66 Rentals, I haven't rented from them but they owned my bike before me. I got the service records for it and they take care of their equipment.

Holy $hit - they want $175 a day if you rent for 8 days or more at route 66 rental! It might pay to buy a used Ultra when I get to Vegas, and sell it 10 days later when I am leaving. I doubt I'd take a $1,750 hit by riding the bike for 10 days.

Las Vegas HD has a good rental dept in terms of bike selection and customer service, but like posted above, very expensive compared to many other dealers.

Anybody know anything about Henderson HD rentals? Might they be a better deal?
