Sturgis campgrounds??
I stayed at Eagles Landing last year, but have nothing to compare it to. Only cost $75 for a week of tent camping, $2 beers and free shuttle downtown. Any other campgrounds I should look into for this year?

It was my first time there and I road all day everyday. Didn't have time to stand in traffic lines to shop for next year's campsight.

Depends on what kind of fun you're into. I've always had a good time at Glencoe. Went back to the Buffalo Chip for the first time since the 50th last year and it was fun too. Just not as much fun as Glencoe.

I also had a lot of fun at Glencoe back in 07. I stayed at the Chip when I went in 06 and also had a good time. The concerts are usually better at the Chip than anywhere else, but it is also much noisier and got less sleep than at Glencoe. If I ever go back, I think I will stay at one of the campgrounds that are less expensive. $75 is waaay less than the $200+ I spent at the Buffalo Chip and Glencoe.

We stayed at the Broken Spoke. Around $110 for the week. Good bands, general store, pool, and big bar. No $2 beer unless you brought it from home. Loved it. Only problem was being on the wrong side of Sturgis. I too have nothing to compare it to.

I found a web site that may help you some it is www.blackhillsbadlands.com. they have info on each town and i am sure they have camp grounds listed also. Custer State park is a good place to check out.

Lamphere Ranch. A bit more mellow than the Glencoe or Chip and within walking distance to the Full Throttle. They serve three meals a day, reasonably priced and the showers are always clean. Nice place. $18.00 per day.
