It was a bit chilly, barely 60 degrees, but took a ride up Pacific Coast Highway from San Clemente to Newport and back. The ocean views were amazing with views of Catalina and San Clemente Island. Awesome!

50 degrees + here in MA on 1-1-11. Roads were wet due to melting. But it was worth the clean up.

Annual New Years day tradition for the Blessing of the Bikes.

Must of been in excess of 500 + bikes of all makes and models. Was pretty awesome.

Rode from home in Orlando to Webster, FL yesterday for the 1st Sunday of the month bike and car swap meet and show. Nice ride to our rendevous point and on up the back roads to the site. Remenants of the annual Native American "Pow-Wow" also held at the site were still there. So it was an interesting mix of bikers, hot rodders and Native Americans all mixed together. As an added "bonus" the bike turned 20k miles on the return home. Got to service it now, ugh!

The snowbanks are 5' or more high on the drive (I do plow wide w/ a skidsteer) , there is about 4 inches of compacted snow and ice on the small hill in the drive leading up to the garage and the temp is about zero & that ain't Canook degrees, it's F. Ice, compacted snow on the road and light flurries.
Flock no I didn't go for no stinking ride. I 've ridden in snow before and know better.

Did the local polar bear ride, was only 60 miles and I was prepared for more. Heated gloves are awesome.
