Hit the road yesterday with my brother for a nice 75 mile ride since we had a nice 65 degree day.

It was 50 degrees up here in Connecticut...I got 3 rides in. Second ride, had the wife hop on the back for a bit..but then the clouds came out, she got cold, I dropped her off back home and I took off again for almost an hour. Saw lots of other bikes out enjoying the spring-like weather. Snow on the ground when I headed out. Mostly melted by end of the afternoon.

The last few days of December had been 40-50° and rainy. Melted off most of the snow and washed off a lot of the salt. New Year's Day was 14°, but sunny. It gave me a chance to test out my heated gear that I got for Christmas. I only rode 15 miles, but it felt good to cure the PMS*.

My wife and I went on the annual Polar Bear Ride here in Portland,OR. Left the house at 10am and around 25 degrees. Had fun and it was dry for a change.

we have about 8 inches of snow on the ground most of the roads were melted off but still wet. I couldn't help myself, so I went for a ride. When I got home I got the speech from the little lady how my thinking wasn't clear

My wife and I were at our home in Florida over the holidays and she suggested we buy another bike to leave in Florida! Naturally, I did not want to disappoint and went out and bought another bike which we rode for 400 miles in 4 days and of course rode on New Year's Day, 78 degrees. I can't wait for it to warm up in Connecticut as we will be in withdrawal without riding.
