Got up to about 65 here in Virginia. Weird moist and dank from all the melting but had a good ride with 15 other buddies. Nice to be out in the air after a wild new years eve.

...yes, very short...my buddy is a member of both chapters, and he knew it would be a short one...that's why we broke off and caught up with the Kirkwood chapter...
Better turn out than I expected, and Kirkwood was about the same, as far as I could see.
My buddy was on a Copper Top Ultra, parked by the building...my bike is in my signature, and I was parked by the stage...

No, although I thought about it all day... beautiful day, 60 and sunny... but my back has been jacked up all week so I couldn't even get the bike out of the garage... sux

yeah, i got in a ride today. but it's kinda cheating on my part, it got up to 65* and sunny here.

Cold Ride

Had to ride 220 miles this afternoon. Everything was warm, but my gloves suck. I have decided to buy a really nice cold weather package. I would like it to be heated. It stayed in the mid-30's to low-40's the entire trip, and @ interstate speeds for long periods with crappy gloves makes a tough time.

I put around 380 miles on the bike 12/30/10-1/1/11

I will say this though, my Fat Bob seat on the Street Bob makes a world of difference. This is the first time ever I rode my bike distance, and did not have any butt issues. Not one burn. I was comfortable the entire way.

A chilly for L.A. (38F - 54F) but a sunny day for New Years. A short sunny and dry window as it starts raining again tomorrow. But got in close to 200 miles; Breakfast at the Rock Store, Neptune's Net, Mulholland Hwy et al. Not as many folks out as I'd have expected . . . maybe some of the party's last night were just a bit too good?
