Probably the same storm that hit us yesterday afternoon...
We even had a T3 tornado touch down in the middle of the county....which here, the whole county is suburbs, so it messed a lot of houses up.

I rode (walked) my f**king snowblower down one side of the street, around the corner, and then the other street.

There's a three story hospital 1/2 block away in that video above. It's directly behind the tool shed you can see in my back yard. I dare you to try and find it.

The ratty noise you hear is the neighbor scrapping ice......

(lot shorter than I expected, but dammit got a ride in)

Even the Mrs got bundled up & rode with me. Sadly, we had to do it on her bike as mine is in the shop with a stupid electrical gremlin I just couldn't find on my own. But hey, that's why they have warranties, right?

As for nasty salt on roads...we had a short but HARD storm yesterday, so roads were nice & clean....but dry by this morning.
...same here...started off with the St. Charles Chapter....broke off and joined up with the Kirkwood Chapter.
A bit cold, but I woundn't want to start the new year off any other way...

Rode close to 250 miles yesterday, along the coast on US98 with high temps around 70 degrees. Took off this morning for a ride up into Georgia. We hit rain and headed home where it's still raining, but we still had a great time.

I couldn't pass it up. My RK is at a friend's house an hour away because their garage is sealed 100x better than mine, but my CB550 is still here so I hopped on that and rode for an hour. Feels good to ride the first day of the new year, that's for sure.

Even funnier, 45* felt downright warm, and I wasn't cold at all even with a regular jacket and jeans.

Our HOG chapter had a ride scheduled and the weather is above freezing with sunshine; however, my street is still covered with ice... I could not get out to the main streets to join them.
