I am currently using the Dunlop GT502 (Screamin Eagle tire) on the rear on my bike, the grip is about the same on both of them. The GT502 might grip off the line a little better, but the night dragon tire held the curves better. The GT502 is not gonna make it 4000 miles on my bike whereas the Night Dragon managed to make it over 7500 miles (but I pushed it harder than I should of, it should of been changed at 7000 miles).
I say that the grip is about the same on both tires because each has it strong points, but to me either one is great on traction. I ran the Night Dragon at 41psi, and lowered the GT502 to 40psi based on the wear that I have seen so far. As stated in my review that I posted the link to the Night Dragon tire did not seem as wide as the GT502, but both tires are stamped 180/60/17.

Part of the Dunlop wider appearance is due to the way the tire is built. Wider tread with tucked in sidewalls that make it work well on the stock MOCO 17 inch wheels. If one were to look at the suggested rim width for the ND the stock MOCO wheel is probably on the narrow side for what Pirelli would suggest for rim width to use with their 180 tire?

zanotti's has that tire for $213.67. course, with renegade, you are getting 15% off list, plus $1.00 for installation. gonna be hard to find that tire for less elsewhere. but you may be able to find a suitable replacement elsewhere and save a few bucks on the tire, but you'll end up paying for it on installation, whether it be what you're charged, or the amount of time that you'll spend doing it yourself.
