I am looking for a light weight, full-face helmet that will match the color of my bike, black cherry. I have checked several web sites but can't find the helmet in the color I want.

I was in a Honda shop several weeks back buying a pair of gloves and they had some full face helmets that were nce looking reds. I don't know if it was black cherry but it was close.

I'd try motorcycle-superstore.com. They have a large range of helmets and you usually carry all the colors, you just have to click on the color sample at the bottom and it will show the whole helmet in that color. Alternatively, try the manufacturers websites themselves, they'll show the full color range they offer, and should have links to dealers either online, or locally, or offer a buy direct option.
If no-one makes the color you want. For about $150 you can get any helmet painting to match your bike at a color or airbrushing shop. They can even use OEM paint so it truly matches.

It shows a bunch of helmets tested for DOT. Each link is a year of testing. That will give you a bunch of manufacturer names you can google to find their websites. It will also show you the ones you may not want to buy.

Finally there is an upside to a black bike....it's easy to match a helmet to!!

 

Sure does!!! All of my helmets are flat black... looks good with black cherry!

 

Yup! I have two black helmets and just got my vivid black bike! All matches now

 

I am pretty sure in San Fransico they having mathcing helmets for thier bikes
