Harley's oil filter funnel?

Cheapest/best drain pan & most should have in kitchen = "tin foil"
Just grab some off the roll & form your own funnel - throw when done.

If that's her in your avatar then...she probably gets out the t-shirt & jumprope - then coaxes you to go change the oil...

Got one for Xmas. Gotta be better than nothing. It will be a while before I use it, because the oil was changed before it snowed, and the bike won't be out until the road salt is gone.
What would be impressive.............if the geniuses that engineer at HD would design a way of making a simple thing like changing your own oil & filter less of a mess than a BP oil spill. Of all the possible ways of configuring and placement of an oil filter, they have to mount it sideways, so it spills it's contents the second it's removed. THAT'S POS THINKING.

This is what I use and it works well. I take a plastice 32 or 44 oz cup from a gas station-like a big gulp. Cut is right down both sides then cut the bottom off, now you will have a long U shaped plastic in your hand, well 2 of them. Just take the bigger end the part you would drink from and hold it under the oil filter as you unscrew it and let the oil run down it into your drain pan then throw it away or save it till next time.
