I bought one for 99 bucks several years ago then bought one for the lady too.
The leather is fairly thick with good quality zippers and plenty of storage pockets. The insulation is not that thick, so make sure you get it a little larger so you can wear a couple of layers of fleece underneath when it gets colder.
I got mine from a leather shop here in Virginia, so was able to try it on.
Reason so cheap? Made in Pakistan with American cowhide. So what?

Have not done business with the company but from what I have read it is a reputable company with a good return policy if you are not satisfied. That jacket has a very reasonable price and looks good in the pic. Personally, I think where it is made is not as important as how well it is made. We all would like to buy stuff made in the USA but there is not much made here. That's just a fact. I personally like riding leather a little thicker but 3.0 oz is not a deal killer. Why not give them a call and discuss your concerns with a company rep? Good luck.

I have one like that, probally not the same manufacture. It's a nice riding jacket, but not the best for cold weather.. I joined "Motorcycle Riders Club of America" $350.00 for a lifetime membership and they sent me a "free" leather jacket that is awsome in cold weather. I switch back and forth depending on temps................My brother-in -law also has one that looke like that, but it is much heaver than mine and has a zip out liner....

If you're in the market for a traditional style jacket, get the original - Schott Brothers Perfecto. This is the jacket that Brando wore in The Wild Ones and later on James Dean. Check out the website, the History is a fun read.

If you can't afford a new one, you can always find them on ebay in good to perfect condition for reasonable prices.

Had one "like" it years ago, but someone wanted it more than I did and stole it while I was lowering the alcohol level in my bladder.
Was a damn good jacket

Get on Ebay and get a decent, USA made leather jacket for less than that.Good used is better than new crap any day. I wear a Schott Perfecto - got it on Ebay for half the MSRP brand new with tags, from a motorcycle shop closing them out, but you can get one used for a lot less than I paid.

You can also get these "Schott Perfecto Go-Go Shorts." No, I don't know why.
