Yeah, thanks for your service but I'm sure the whole state of Texas isn't like El Paso. But I do agree with you on the driving part. May I suggest they all move to Texas?

I like riding in the Keys, when I get tired of riding on the east coast, I make a 180 degree turn and ride the west coast.

As long as you don't want twisties, Florida is a great place to ride. Here lately it's been too damn cold, but usually it's riding season 365 days a year. The drivers are the worst here though, because they're from EVERYWHERE. I've learned to watch out for the Quebec license plates, they seem to be the worst.

Patrick AFB is great, beautiful area (Cocoa). You have the beach literally across the street from the base. You have Daytona and Orlando both within an hours' drive, Tampa and Jax are about 2 hours, and Miami is about 6. A1A is great for beachside riding down south here as well.

Yessirree...without a doubt, one of my favorite rides. Plenty more like it from Va to W.Va.

Every State has some cool roads to ride, Some are a little harder to find but they are there. Fill the Tank and go get lost.

I'm from the east coast..more specifically New England..more specifically the state of Connecticut...more specifically the southeastern corner down on the ocean...on the shore. Some beautiful stuff here, some wide open areas too. I can head inland and ride in some gorgeous country. I can head a state or two north and get to some absolutely beautiful mountain areas (New Hampshire, Vermont). I can head east and get to some beautiful coastal beach areas (Rhode Island). More north, Maine has some gorgeous shore areas.

But I guess more my point....I think there are great areas to ride in all 50 states, in every nook and cranny of our vast and diversified country.

Guess I don't understand stereotypes...like when I read people hate "French" or "Canadians" or "insert some ethnic place like Puerto Rico". IMO you can find good friends anywhere, and you can find idiots anywhere.

Should I stereo type riding in Texas?....where I could presume to see cans of cheap beer fly out of the back of pickup trucks and bounce off of my bikes headlight? Or worry about getting a flat tire on some rednecks second to the last tooth that fell out of his mouth and landed in the road?
Agreed on the great areas. In Eastern KS, we have many county highways that are well maintained, and most small towns have a little bar with friendly down to earth people, and some of them serve good food. Sunday afternoon is a great time to go ride and enjoy a refreshing beverage of your choice in each town.

The tooth part is some funny chit!

Gotta say, being from the Adirondack Park area originally, THAT is some beautiful, driver free riding! +1
