RE: Counter steering
Yep, MSF Course, the life you save my be your own! As for counter steering, once you are at about 15-20 mph you have to lean the bike to turn, and counter steering is the instinctual way to lean the bike.

Counter steering is automatic on most bikes, some do require you to counter steer, to get them through an S turn fast. Like Sportsters & Honda single cam 750’s to name a few.

I dont believe it has anything to do with what bike honda or hd, It is a universal phenomenon and technique to turn a 2 wheeler

RE: Counter steering
Another thing: avoid conflicting inputs. don't try pushing with one and while at the same time pulling with the oppoisite. What happens is you end op with two hands conflicting with each other.
So do your steeering inputs with one hand , preferably the inside hand, push to lean, pull to come back up. Relax the outside hand.
If you concentrate on this you will be surprised how much easier the bike leans over.
