Default Rain ends and riding begins (again)

Bike has been in the shop for 3 1/2 weeks and it rained here for six days straight. The shop called this morning and told me the bike was finished. Since the sun was shining and the roads were mostly dry, I took a nice 90 mile ride to see the water damage and get the cobwebs out of my head.

I was surprised to see only a handful of bikes on the road; two other HD's, a new Triumph and the rest were metrics.

Next week, a short trip to Vegas!

Let me guess, you are from S.Cal.? I've seen the rain you've had. Here in Florida we get that much rain all the time. But with pool table land with nothing but sand. we have 5 inches of rain and in two hours we are dry. Hope you'll dry out without much more damage. Here, specially in the summer, if you ride more then a hundred miles any day, You'll get wet.

Also from So Cal and rode to the desert today. Almost no bikes on the road. Very surprising considering another storm in coming on Sunday (hope they are wrong).

Buddy and I decided: no matter what the weather, riding does us too much good to not ride because of a little water. We are not made of sugar and won't melt.
