Default Any reason not to buy Kuryakyn chrome switch housings

I have been looking at chrome switch housings for my Road King and the Kuryakyn's are about half the price of HD.

Has anybody on here used the Kuryakyn housings?

How do they compare to HD housings?

never used the switch housings, but anything I've bought from them has always been very good quality, and they back everything up 100%, great customer service, and personally I think they are one of the last motorcycle parts companies that care about us, if you don't like them, I'll bet they will give you a complete refund, just my experience

I put them on my wife's Deluxe 2 years ago. They still look great, and have never had any problems. Install is the excact same as the HD ones.

I like saving HALF on parts

You can get a compete chrome handlebar control kit for 129 bucks from www.cyclesupplywv.com

I've had mine on nearly 10 years with no troubles. I've put several kits on for others with no problems as well.

Have 'em on my Fat. Had to tap out the threads for the throttle lock 'cause the stock screw wouldn't fit.

I hear that the Kury is good but the HD chrome kit is higher quality.

I believe the Kurys are covers and the HDs are replacements. Not sure about the look but the installation should be easier with the Kurys.

Go for it! Just make sure you buy the right year. I used the drag specialties so I can't talk about the kury quality. I have kury grips and highway pegs. They are nice.
