There certainly a lot of choices for lubes. It all boils down to what brand you prefer. My choice comes from using synthetics since the 70's.Reading all that is written found Amsoil to be the best choice for me,been using it over 10 yrs in everything we own.Good Luck

Do a search on oil on this site. You will have many hours of reading on the topic, including specific brands...

I switched over to Amsoil after 2 k on my new bike. It seemed good at first, but later seemed noisier in the top end.
I have some regular dino oil and M1-VT and will try both of them when the weather is more cooperative, but that doesn't look like that will happen for quite a while as we have arleady been in winter a month and tomorrow is the official "first day" of winter. Looks like it will be a long one.
And yes their is a thousand or more oil threads..

Amsoil is good. I have used it/ Also use Mobil1 as well. Easier to get. Amsoil does a lot of R & D on their products. Both good IMO.
