Hey everyone , about 2 months back someone posted on here asking our opinion about an old abandone 60's Harley in an abandone garage or building in Kingston Ontario . They said the owner wanted $2000 for it and most here where saying to offer about $1000 . Anyway , I mentined this to someone the other day around here and they expressed interist , so I'm trying to find that thread or the person who posted it to maybe get the contact information for the guy who owns that old Harley . If the original poster would reply to me or if anyone knows how to get to that thread place let me know .

Is that the Sportster with Elvis' signature under the seat? That bike has been found in hundreds of old barns.

I thought about that and some similar "bike in a barn" threads last week, when I took a detour and went by a trailer park I don't usually see, on my way to work. There was what looked like maybe a Road King and some older dyna or even an older Sportster sitting behid it, both covered with snow and ice. I told a guy in my office and he said they've been sitting in the same spot every time he's gone by for the 2 or 3 years he's worked there. Makes me curious - even makes me curious why your wouldn't bother to throw a tarp over a bike that's worth more than your home, when it's snowing, raining ice, etc.

 

Heck brenn, I'd have to drop by just to see what's what. They may be happy just to have someone tow them off - or sell them for very little. you just never know...

 

the breather is off, everything inside likely rusted. Oil all leaked out long ago.

People do say I'm lucky - maybe they'd pay me $50 to haul off those old junk Harleys.
