Carports suck!

For a long time I kept mine under one of those dining canopy things they sell as sm's club or Costco. You know, the one that's 10 x 20 and has sides with a zip up door. Worked great until i le tthe straps get weathered and a wind took it two houses down. Bought material and built myself a 12 x 16 shed and now the bike resides in there and is quite happy. I insulated it and have a small ac and heater if needed.

Hell thats making Me feel cold just looking at them
Seriously though I couldn't leave My bike parked outside like that, some lowlife would likely steal her or damage her ,so she stays locked up in the Garage 30' x 20' when I'm not riding her.

By the way its a pleasant 28c or 82f here today & it never ever ever snows here.

Harbor Freight has a stand alone one car tarp garage they sell fairly cheap that's actually pretty sturdy , it will fit under the average car port don't need a permit either . I feel you man that's a mess of " Aw **** ! " on those bikes .

Add to that, at least 4 cops live here, 2 on my street (including right next door), and everyone pretty much still thinks I'm on the force.
Haven't had a known break-in or theft since well before we moved here.
really? Nice...methinks I'll have to bounce over to our H.F. here and check into that.

Hell, just go buy some tarps and wooden furring strips at Lowes or Home Depot. Wrap the carport with the tarp, and keep it in place by nailing on the furring strips. Probably take you longer to buy the material than it would to put it up. Problem solved.
