HD not reccomending Syn3 in all three holes?
I heard a rumor that factory now not reccomending Syn3 in all three holes. Dealer said that's what they(dealer) recommends without ever answering about factory. Anyone know something about this?

Sounds like a rumor. If you ever see the stuff disappear from shelves and catalogs, then you can believe it.....Personally, I wouldn't want to use the stuff in a 3 holes, but that's a whole 'nuther can of worms to debate.

I hope not, my bike came new with it back in'08 and I've run it ever since. Don't see 220 degrees, most often 180 or 90, might see 210 if I'm running 40 miles at 30-35mph, like on a "beach run", (Clearwater to the Don Cesar for those familiar). No clutch or primary problems after 40,000 miles. 70-80mph on the road, tank after tank, might see 200. For all of what SYN3 is supposedly not, it sure does a good job.

Do a search on this site, as this has been debated many times.
I'm running without incident in all 3 holes. Sny3 is reported to be a mediocre grade synthetic. This spring, my bike will see Red Line of the correct specific type in each of the 3 areas.
...that's if Spring ever gets here...

As long as the MOCO continues to put SYN3 in all 3 holes of their CVO bikes, along with a 2 year, unlimited mileage warranty, I'll continue to use it in my bike. For that matter, has anyone ever heard of an engine/primary/transmission failing due to an oil related issue?

Last time I had my bike serviced, I asked for syn in all three. I was told that it should only be used in two. The mechanic told me that the syn oil was breaking down the seals. I can't remember which one.

Never did take that advice all well knowing what's best for each hole. Each specific fluid has been extensively formulated to do it's job under different conditions.
