With the SESPT, you put the module on the bike and activate it for recording data. To download the data and Smart Tune or uplad a new calibration you'll need to be able to connect to the VCI while it is attached to the bike.

That is true but the TTS cables cost a lot more - even from someplace like Phat the serial cable is $35 and the USB cable is $79 but you can pay full tilt retail from HD and get BOTH cables for only $35 and if you get them from LSHD then they are only $28
