Advice On Helmet Please
#41
going from a full face to shorty helmet was not enjoyable for me. the noise from the pipes and the road noise(big truck tires, etc) was very uncomfortable and took away from my riding enjoyment. the 3/4 really reduced noise and offered protection from the cold without being too hot in the sun. vision was also better than the ff.

First off, let those who ride decide...you want to wear a full face or 3/4 or a bandana thats up to you or the law in the state you ride in.
I've been riding since the 70's and I choose not to wear a helmet when ever possible and when I do wear one its a non DOT. Man I long for the old days when there no freaking do gooder whining sissy *** wanna be bikers..............

My philosophy is simple. If you decide to wear a helmet, or if the law requires, wear one that will protect you. The DOT helmets all look basically alike so you will not be the only one looking like a mushroom head.

I think I'm going to get a Daytona Skull Cap Helmet & a Bell Custom 500 Speed Soul Helmet. I'm sure I will end up with a few different one's & just alternate between all of them.

Yeah, what the hell were Fred and Barney snorting to have this green-helmeted freak floating around them? Wow, I want some!
