ARE INSURANCE SETTLEMENT BIKES,AS WAS THIS ONE"

Is this statement shows he's honest, doing it because he's required to disclose by law or doing a set up?"

THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE "EASY FIX" BIKES

This means there was a lot of work due to a lot of damage.

..DAMAGE WAS MINOR AND ALL REPAIRS

Then he say's the damage was minor. So is this Honest Stealer, er I mean Dealer lying in this statement or was he lying in his previous statement?

HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY AND PROFESSIONALLY COMPLETED

Well if he was lying before how can he be trusted to be telling the truth now?

..THE BIKE WILL COME WITH A NORTH CAROLINA CLEAR TITLE WITH A BRAND OF REBUILT

Now this dealer is trying to delibrately mislead by playing cute with his choice of words. Using the words "clear title" before the phrase "a brand of rebuilt" when the terms used to indicate a bike was totaled is just "salavge" or "rebuilt".

Snake oil salesman.

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only person that picks stuff apart. Smooth talk and a play on words should be the warning you need. Way to sum it up 32vld.

If dresser is dropped it can have broken fairing, bag and engine cover. Dealer gives insurance company huge bs estimate and bike goes to auction. The only important question is: did it have frame damage or not? If bike didn't have frame damage, it is OK to buy. If it did have frame damage, it is hard to say if it was repaired properly. I had a few salvage bikes, it is hard to sell them.

The going rate most of these places pay for a dropped bike is 18-21% of NADA value. So paying anything more than 50% of NADA value for them after they have been "fixed" is simply ridiculous.

Exactly. Half of NADA should be all you pay. Otherwise buy a bike with a GOOD title.

Tough to get financing on anything with a rebuilt/salvage title. Banks know there's no value.

Be very careful. It can work, but you have to be careful. I don't think I would pay even 50% of the NADA value for a salvage titled bike.
