Yup, That's what i have on my laptop. I already had a new computer with Windows 7 from last Xmas and it came with internet explorer 8 which is 64 bit. You only choice is to go with that $70 program. Good luck to ya Schu.

It won't work on Win 7 either, at least not for me. It tells me I already have a version of Live on my computer and to manually remove it first. But to me it seems like it also has something to do with Windows Live Mail and I'm not trusting Microsoft not to bugger all that up.

In any case the GoPro deserves a full featured editor. And if Microsoft is giving something away, it'll be laggy and frustrating in the end, LOL!

Do a google search on Wondershare. It is a video editing software program. You can download it for free but you have limitation until you purchase it. I really like the program and it is very easy to use. What I like the most about Wondershare is it took less time and effort to edit the video's and pictures.

Buy a GoPro HD. Don't even think about getting something else.

Here's the video that sold me. They even used one when they brought the Chile Miners up, it's on the bottom right on this page. Besure to click the red tab on the right for the daily giveaway.

For those of you with a GoPro 1080, you should go to GoProcameras.com and download the new firmware. It only takes about 2 seconds to install, but it adds a few features and bug fixes.
-You can now take the battery out without losing the Time and Date.
-You can now set it to the upside down mode so if you have to mount the camera upside down, your video will still be rightside up.
-The menu works faster now
-It consecutively numbers your file names now so when you copy them to your hard drive you don't have several files with the same name.

The update adds a few other things as well, it's worth doing.

So where would you typically mount this camera on a bike with a fairing? I just bought an 08 Ultra.
