He more than likely won't get back to you. If he does, it'll be with a bunch of reasons he has to use "his" escrow service. This is a classic scam. We see it all the time on Ebay, using hijacked addresses.

Run a traceroute on his emails, and lets see how many times he bounces it. I'm betting it'll wind up in Nigeria or Great Britain. They almost always do.

 

How do you do the trace route thing?

 

Right click on one of his messages in your inbox, then click "properties". You should get it that way.

 

AS a Goldwing owner also, I can tell you that $7K for a GW trike is WAYYYYY low, something is fishy. Trike conversions run from $15K to $25K normally. Be REAL careful with this....something doesn't smell right. A 99 stock Wing will cost you $10K+ by itself, and triking it will add another $6500. Hiram: All signs point to it being a big scam. Don't deal with this guy and report his ad to every listing agency. You will never get your 1/2 down back and you will never see the bike! Check with eBay's Scam department. This lister might just well already be documented there. ................... BC

At This Point I have no doubt that this is a scam. I just want to see how far this guy will go. I seriously doubt that I will hear any more from him.
