Buddy,I can't believe you're getting that kinda weather in Mississippi! Weatherbug says we're suppose to be around 60 in 3-4 days!I'm just hopin it's half way decent for our NewYears day ride!

Cant go wrong with a Road King, they are sweet rides, I miss my 06 King

Very nice bike indeed. My favorite color. But Black is faster. I found my 06' Standard Glide a year ago with twelve thousand on it. I felt like it was the right bike at the right time and price. I still see older stuff selling for more money. And so far it has not failed to carry and amuse me. I'm smiling the whole time I'm on it. My truck has only been driven a couple of thousand and my bike, Fourteen thousand.
I just returned from a friends at 26F. I was well layered up for the several mile return trip to my crib. My fairing takes a big bite out of the win chill factor.
I'm sure you will enjoy every mile you get to put on it. Ride fun and be safe.

Yeah, the layering is what has kept me from getting out in this weather. I had to purchase some new leather since I got the bike. I own a bunch of Carhart stuff but that is not really good on the street.

I've got everything I need now except waiting on my jacket to come in.
