rear fender not perfectly aligned? is this how they come stock?

mine is off center a bit to the right. Tire was rubbing with the short shocks on the right side only.

the off center doesn't bother me... the rub makes me a bit weird, it's not major rub but i'll keep an eye on it...maybe take the bolts off each side and see what happens...

Same on my 09RG. I have all the saddlebag hardware off so it's just the fender sitting in the frame. Sitting on a center stand with both wheels off the ground the right side of the fender clearance to the tire is 1" - 1-1/8" gap. On the left side it's 3/8" - 1/2" gap. Maybe when you reattach the bag hardware and exhaust you can do some tweaking to cheat it over but they are definitely coming from the factory that way.

FWIW, I got mine centered by loosening the fender strut bolts, pulling the fender a bit to the side that has less clearance, & tightening the struts back up. The fender is now perfect.

My 07 is off pretty good. On the good side, it allows me extra room for my 2" drop in the rear.
