Stock Mufflers

You just unbolt them and bolt on a pair of Rush slipons. Or you can cut the ends off your stock pipes and slip the innards out like my son did. But then like him you'll lose the bottom end power. He was pretty amazed at how much more power he had when he took his empty pipes off and put on the Rush pipes.

Check out this website below. They had a great article in American Iron mag about this company. Hope it helps. Jr.

For Pet's sake don't throw away any money on Rush Slip Ons. IMHO they sound like crap.
I can't tell you the procedure for disassembling the mufflers on an RKC, but on my FXDF I took the mufflers off and drilled out three rivets and pulled out the baffles. Then I was able to remove the packing and then reassemble the baffles into the mufflers and replace the pop rivets. Then I got a metal cutting hole saw that fit the ID of the exhaust outlet and a drill bit extension and used this to cut the plug out of each of the baffles.
Possibly your procedure might be similar.
You're eventually going to want a full exhaust system.
