Default z max additive

I saw an "infomercial" about Z MAX oil additive. It claimed that it was good for crank cases since it inhibited oxidation. Though skeptical, I was wondering if anyone tried it during winter storage.

Well...Carrol Shelby uses it in everything he owns...and even signs
his name to it, that is, after they pay him handsomely.

I have never used it and never plan to. I would just forget you seen it and just run your oil the way you have been.

Use good oil and change it as suggested you will not need that ****. I had a lot of respect for Carrol Shelby until I saw that commercial.

Snake Oil...All these years Carrol Shelby was a highly respected racer and car builder, and then he started doing commericals for that stuff. Dont get it.

The oil you use is blended to have the correct amount of additives already. Adding the special blended miracle oils will only mess up the correct combo your oil already has.
