Losing our local dealer and HOG chapter!!
Local dealer, Black Canyon Harley is closing on the 24th of the month. Held on as long as they could, with the economy. Will lose our local HOG chapter too.
Dealer is one of the good ones. Every time I went in, get a "hello, how can I help you", from motorclothes people to salesman. Even the boss comes out to say "Hi". Same with parts and service. Asking if I need anything. All call me by name or roadname. If I say "just looking" they back off and say if I need help , just ask.
Good bunch in the HOG group too. Enjoyed riding with them and the Spring Riding skills refresher. Our Christmas party next week will be strange as it will be the last meeting we have as a HOG chapter.

I think it is in Colorado. I chuckle when I see people talk about where they are with no mention of location... they dont even list it on their profile so you know where they are talking about.

No need for that. Form a Riding Club and keep on doing what you're doing. Use that last meeting as the first meeting of the new club.

Or look at the big upside--you can still ride with the friends you've made without all the rules, politics and squabbles of an organization.

I'm thinkin' about 60 miles to Grand Junction would be the next closest. Bad when the good guys are going out too!
