09 Road King clutch
Just wondering - don't get me wrong - I love my bike but -
When operating normally (as any sane rider would) the clutch works great. Everything is beautiful, adjustment, release, smoothness etc. But when I get on it, gotta admit it, the clutch can slip after shifting from 1st on up. 1st holds beautifully but it can slip and grab while going thru the gears. I have to back off the gas long enough for the clutch to fully engage each shift. Probably can fix it with a better clutch (higher performance) but was wondering if anyone else has seen this?

Clutch adjustment time? What are you running for fluid? Fluid level?
I run a 103 no slip..

Just got the bike back from the 5K service - all fluids replaced with full synthetics - don't know what brands. The clutch (hand lever) appears to be adjusted correctly. This has been a way of life since when new.

U can adjust Ur lever with the cable adjustments,, but,,, U need to adjust the clutch plates in the motor..

Also dont use a auto type oil in the Primary, they have friction enhancers, which can make the clutch slip..
If U did the 1k and the 5k services and had the clutch adjusted correctly, then I'd talk to the dealer about it slipping while U still have warranty...
