No, they will just make it impossible for us to ride through legislation. You know, to protect us from ourselves.

Even though it’s been around for years, it’s still great. Send it to all the cagers you know, and maybe someday that one person that just saw the video will look twice and save a life.

Not sure about where you live, but here it is against the law to kill another motorist, whether it's in a bike, car, truck, or whatever.

The problem is the punishment does not fit the crime.

To many courts consider vehicular homicide a "ooops" kind of crime, not the murder it really is.

Works for cars and bikes both.

If people got 20 years and a day on a chain gang for killing someone because of their error, I bet people would start paying attention..if not, we'd at least get many of them off the roads..imho

I know this is a old post, but always a good read.

I remember that day 4-30-2011, I faired better than most, but still lost the EG and 3.5 months of work.

All I can think of is the kid came over to me, while I'm lying on the ground and said, "Sorry I didn't see you". All I told him was, you believe in miracles, before he could answer I told him that God gave back your sight!

Good post OP. I agree it has to go somewhere else. The video- was it ever on TV ?
I thought of a good public service announcement. =======Left turning vehicles, tailgaters and someone texting near a motorcycle - Then a picture of the rider and voiceover ''He survived two tours in Iraq for you- and now you're threatening his life ? "

Good post..thanks!! Timely considering the jackazz who made a left turn at a T intersection into my lane as I while I was stopped at the light. He looked up from his text in time to get back in his lane.
