Default 2006 Oyster Run

Yesterday the good Lord gave the Pacific North West a beautifull 70 degree pure sunshine day for the largest 1 day event in the north west. Was my first trip ever and on my new H-D. Never saw so many bikes in my life! THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of bikes. I got in, walked the rounds, got my T-shirt and left before it got seriously bad. If you've never attended a real bike run/rally , I urge you to do at least once in your lifetime. It's an experience you will never forget. I plan on making this one an annual event. Dave

Just got back this AM. The wife and I had a blast. Initial reports are over 30K bikes! We booked a hotel for the weekend to fully enjoy the riding in the area. What a hoot! We plan on doing it again next year. We will have to hook up and ride together. Give me an email at geoseismic@comcast.net

I live about 6 miles from Anacortes(as the crow flies). It was indeed a great day for the event. the side roads you can ride around here are as good as any in the state...glad you enjoyed my neck of the woods
