Hat's off to Indian Larry.

I don't think anyone is putting him on a pedestal. I think most of us respect him from over coming problems and addictions. Then getting it together and building some really cool bikes. He attained some fame and didn't let it go to his head. He was still willing to talk and hang out with the general public. He was known for his stunt riding and was performing when he took the fatal fall. He was a showman and he knew of the risks and took them. There are alot of performers who take risks everyday. Just because you sustain a serious injury does not necessary make it a dumb move. Anyway I for one will miss the guy.

I love not only Larry's bikes, but who Larry was. He was down to earth, and had one hell of a ride. I have an older friend who remembers the Amboy days with him and English Don...says it was some of the best times of his life. He has pics with them just sitting around and BS'ing. Said Larry would act like he knew you forever.
If a genie came along and gave me the chance to spend some time with someone who had past on, A ride across country with Indian Larry would be top 3.

Your comments lacked any sort of class whatsoever and also lacked respect for a man deceased ...
He has many fans and much respect , he accomplished things the old fashioned way and just deserves that recognition ..not to be called a circus freak..
I've seen many of your posts and I don't know how a troll like you gets to as many posts as you have without being booted ...

He has AT LEAST three troll posts up right now that I could point out to you..
he just likes to start chit on here, please don't assist ....
not only that, I have met PLENTY of people who say if you ride a motorcycle you are an idiot and deserve what you get...
Do you always wear a helmet and follow all traffic laws , by the way...and never do anything bad for your health or dangerous ?
Using your logic, anyone who's ever done ANYTHING daring is an idiot..
How 'bout Evel ...was he an idiot too... ???

Larry's & Russ Mitchell's bikes are the only custom sleds nowadays that don't look like fruity looking pimpmobiles, and the only ones that I would call righteous! I am NOT a fan of new ANYTHING!
