What is the club member under few peoples names? NScoyote and primo plus the mods have them. What does it mean?

They're establishing the pecking order, officially, around here.

 

It means you're not a member.

 

It's a new thing starting in 2011. I was PM'd about it from the site owner. Nothing will change for those with normal memberships. Those that opt to pay for a higher membership will receive different features like larger avatars, animations, a panic button, thank you options, etc.

 

I think it means you're eligable to play golf in Central Park (NYC) or Griffith Park (LA) Tues thru Thurs each week except on Veterans Day and Easter... I think...

They put together come packages of site upgrades, and physical items, which they'll be adding to the site as forms of Premium Membership.

Nothing is being taken away from current members, and all new members will receive exactly the same features as they do today, that was made clear

They've created two tiers, 'Supporter' & 'Club Member', and each tier will carry an icon above each post that indicates their level of support. They've even made a moderator specific badge for all site staff. Check them each out here:




Both levels will receive additional forum features such as:

* Custom usertitle
* Colored username
* Larger profile photo sizing
* Slightly larger avatars & signatures
* Increased PM space & the ability to message more users at once
* More photo album space, and support for larger images


They've also added some neat, new features to the forum:

* Panic Button
* Radio & TV plugin
* Keyword Alerts
* Post Thank You Button




Panic Button: The Panic Button will be placed at the bottom right of every post on the site. Club Members can set a URL in their userCP on the options page, for it to automatically forward to if the boss shows up unexpectedly. (ie: google.com)

Radio & TV: This feature, for Club Members only is located in the middle of the navbar, will enable you to listen to your choice of radio, or TV station, right here on HDForums!

Keyword Alerts: This feature will allow Supporters to track any 1 keyword, so that they receive a notification via email, or PM each time it's mentioned on HDForums. Club Members will be able to track up to three keywords.

Post Thank You: This will allow Supporters & Club Members to offer thanks to other members who post a useful, or interesting post, without necessarily needing to make a reply. Thank you counts are tallied, and displayed under usernames.

Finally, they've got some physical stuff, that you can collect, and continue to add to. They're going to send out a site logo sticker to both Supporters & Club Members.

Club Members will also receive an embroidered site logo patch, and yearly chevron piece. The chevrons will be issued each year, offering an opportunity to display your support on an ongoing basis.
