Red Mistress took over my life 1 yr ago = 16,501 miles and a CRAZY time
So it is offical. The red mistress took over my life 1 year ago today.
In that year I have added 16,501 miles to her or more like she whisked me away for 16500 mostly solo miles.
For her she has gotten lots of rhinestones. Also a few new tires, forward controls, a new seat, a GPS (that was taken from car new one on the way) windshield, saddle bags, tail bag, windshield bag. Also bike camping gear, a weekend travel bag, a week travel bag.
TONS of gear..
Trips have included a few bike weeks, NH, NY, MA, and cool places like skyline and PA 6.
For me I have met so many new cool people and made some great friends here and on BON.
In addition, I am now not a solo rider since the guy I almost married when I was young and I got back together. And lucky for me he rides so now my life has a pair of bikes.
WHAT a great year. STILL have a ton to learn (like I still suck in the twisties). Thinking about some even bigger trips like sturgis this year.
AND you all have been so much help while I have been figuring this out mostly alone.. I would not be where I am with my bike if it werent for HDF. SO huge thank you !!!!

Great, I think you now have "the fever". Just wait till next summer, there'll be more.
Now go clean'er up for the winter, (that is, if ya don't ride in the winter) and she'll see ya in the spring.
That's not bad for a yr, I haven't been able to do any "events" due to wifey working and school, but I still managed about 11k....I'm tryin".
Keep on goin' on.....

Yup, enjoyed riding with you Liz, on the Flat spot ride. Happy to see you found everything you always wanted in 1 year. May the next, even be better than the one before.....

You did Great Liz much better than I managed this year. I always like to read of your latest trip. Glad you have someone to ride with now.
