helmet free state here as well.
Always wear one in the very cold, rain (if I have one with me), and sometimes in the summer. Overall, I prob wear one 30-40% of the time

Helmet free state here........sometimes i will, sometimes i wont, depends how I feel that day. However, if it's cold I'm wearing one, just more comfortable for me.
Maybe a bit off topic, but I just got a new full face helmet. I've been wearing it when it's cold, but I find it really restrictive as far as head movement goes. I can't see or hear nearly as well with it on, not sure how this could be safer.

Live in a helmet state, but very close to new Hampshire. Once I cross the state border, the bucket comes off. Didn't ride a single mile with a helmet this year, in NH that is.

Wore a helmet before it became mandatory here.
When I was picking one out years ago, a saleman seeing me looking at the FF Shoei asked if I rode a Hurricane? Nope. A FJ? Nope. A GXSR? Nope. I snickered when I saw the shocked look on his face when I told him a Harley Softail.

Living in CA I am supposed to wear a helmet so I meet the authorities half way I wear a novelty helmet.
Since I don't have any hair on my head to shield me from the sun I find that I wear it even in the states that don't require me to wear it. It is more of a baseball cap with a chin strap.

I live in MO where we have to wear a helmet, but sometimes we ride over into IL where they do not have a helmet law. Since I have my helmet anyway, I usually wear it over there. But not always.
