Bikes are new, but compared to other rental's around the country, not a bargain. I forget the girls name in rentals, but she was real nice to work with.

Don't know what you're thinking of renting, but consider the RG Custom. It was a great ride!

Have fun! Great riding out there.

Eagle Rider is closer to the Strip as well (if that's where you're staying).

My buddy was here two weeks ago and he rented a Street Glide for a day. They treated us well, good service, etc. However, don't be in a real big hurry picking up the bike in the morning. But make sure you're there at 9am when the open, just be prepared to wait around for a while. As they have to go over every detail with every customer on each and every bike, you literally have to "take a number", and they'll get to you in that order.

I have a friend that works there and we received no special attention, but it wasn't that bad, we got his bike around 10am, so it took about an hour.

All bikes have to be checked out by their service dept between every rental, so if a bike comes in late that night, they have to do the service check in the morning, which is what happened to us. However, we didn't have to return it til noon the next day.

Oh, and I'd call and make a reservation as soon as possible. My buddy made his two months in advance. Depends on what kinda bike you want. However, they have tons of bikes, and you can call in the morning and get a bike that day, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Also, as far as riding, see my post here:

If you're a HOG member, rentals are considerably cheaper from a co-operating H-D dealer renting to HOG members. A lot cheaper! A tour through the dam and to the Grand Canyon is highly recommended! Was there about 3 weeks ago.
