Go north and west of the strip, Mount Charleston up north is a great ride takes a couple of hours They get snow at the top in wintertime, it is a ski resort. Out west of town is red rock canyon, You may be able to get out to Hoover dam on the east side now that the bypass is open. we were there in Sept. before it opened and traffic was backed up 3 miles. too hot to wait it out then. Have fun and be safe. Lots of out of town drivers that are not paying attention out there.

Good question. Pretty sure you have to be 25, but worth a call to find out.

I've ridden out there a bunch over the last 4 or 5 years. You're going to love it! There are so many great day rides. Lake Mead is awesome! Mt. Charleston, Death Valley, Old Route 66, Oatman, AZ. All depends on how many miles you plan to do.

Damn! Just thinking about it makes me wish I was going! Also makes me wish I was 25!

Have a blast!

South, lower elevations. Probably Death Valley area as destination, getting a cold snap right now. Looks like I will be deep frying the bird in 42F high Thursday. US93 out of Vegas over the dam (new bridge), hit Rosies Den with biker parking at your table outside. Oatman as suggested via the original Rt 66 that you pick up here in old town Kingman. Head west and loop up through Death valley then back east to Vegas.

Let me know if you get it worked out.......I will not be out Thursday but probably rolling around Friday.

Yeah, LVHD gave me real pleasant experience BIG time last Spring.

Originally, They assigned me to Road King as I was disappointed cuz I wanted Ultra in the first place. Told me they will do whatever it takes to upgrade me to an Ultra few months before until I got there in the morning. Lady paired me with a brand new spanking Ultra with only 400 miles which got me grinning from ear to ear.

Will go back and rent with LVHD again without any further questions.

Bring your warm clothes as it will be cold here over Turkey day weekend, lows below 30 degrees.

Hey toastman, how did you like Vegas? Which bike did you rent, and where did you end up riding?

vegas was cool as **** i had a great time.

we didn't ride. it was colder than we packed for, we didn't have leathers or even any sort of real jackets at all.

so instead we took a helicopter ride to the grand canyon. figured we can ride anytime we want at home, but we don't have a chopper parked in the driveway lol.
