Ok so I like the wire trick. I use a clothes hanger . Cut it and rounded the end then push it in and sprayed some WD-40 in the hold .Then moved the wire 180* and did the same. Twisted the grip back and forth and it was off in a min. thanks for the help PS I'm putting them on the new bars because they only have 2500 mile on them.

I tried the hairspray once. The damn thing came off a few days later.

My old set, I just squeezed with a death grip and twisted back and forth until it came off. Gave them to a buddy who is still using them.
Now he teases me I should get a manly set like he has.

dip the left handgrip in some hot water, let soak for 30 secs or so, slide grip right off.

keep the blood on the inside where it belongs

The rubber on mine broke right at the switch housing so that can't hold it on anymore. I wanted to make sure it didn't come off so I epoxied it with some 3M stuff we keep at work. I hope I never have to remove it. It will be a bear.

Thin screwdriver to get it off. Then hair spray for the new one.

i have been changing grips for 20 years.. slip a small screwdriver under the grip, spray some brake cleaner in there, twist and it will slide rite off..let it dry good and slip new one on.. i have never used glue on a grip..spraypaint works.. sticks grip in place pretty good, just dont let it drip anywhere
