How do you remove the left handgrip from your bars ?

Never use glue on new grips. In case I want to take them off and resell them. I wrap the bar with electrical tape and twist the new grip on. Then just unscrew them off. Done this on a few different bikes and never had one come off. I take a razor and cut the stock grips off

There was glue on my 09 left grip. My housing clamps over the rubber boot on the grip, but I wouldn't say it's holding grip on.

Are we going to see you on that "hoarders" show someday when you whole house fills up with Harley stuff you refuse to throw out......

I'm with the ones who advised to cut old grip off w/box cutter (razor) and squirt hairspray in new grip.

Go ahead....ask me how I put my new ones on. I got a little tube of super glue. Took the old one off by cutting it. Put the glue on, pushed hard, lined it up right and ta da! Took another three hours to get my hand unglued from the grip. Glue squeezed out around the ISO grip and believe me it works great!
