I am very unfamiliar with the Vrod. I have never been on one. I am starting to see more and more of them. I personally do not care for the "George Jetson" styling, but I am sure there are many that love them. How fast and powerful are these bikes? I keep hearing they are the bomb. What will one do against my FXRS with a 113" motor (130 hp@rt). Would I get smoked? How about a 4th gear roll-on?

Can't answer your questions about racing, but I have an opinion about the V-Rod.

While it is fast, and handles great, it is much too metric for my tastes. It just isn't a real Harley as far as I'm concerned.. Maybe it's the Porche engineering.

If you have a highgt performance 103 in your FXRS, there might not be too much difference in performance. I have never ridden a high performance Low rider so I don't know about their performance. I have ridden a V-Rod, and they are quick, just not my style.

Well lets see, off the floor they make 115 HP. It is prolly a little lighter then your bike too hehe. I guess the only way to really know is to line up against one....
