Anybody from Springfield, MO. area? Need info.
I bought a vehicle from a used car/bike dealer in Springfield and am yet to receive a title yet. Just wondering what kinda rep this place has, I do not want to have to visit him again to discuss this, but will if need be.

Bought the truck it at JT motorsports. The guy I bought it from was super nice, even met me there on Sunday to do the deal. He rode bikes also and had several for sale. I spoke to him yesterday again and he said he would send me another temp tag for the truck since the first one (30 day) had run out. I am not liking this situation right now and I am a 6 hour drive away. He said he would send me another temp tag and they had the title but had to get it signed by the dealer he bought the truck from. Anyone know anything about this dealer, just wondering if I need to start taking steps to rectify this on my own instead of relying on him.

30 days already? dude, seriously, how long can it take to get a signature? This smells fishy to me. See if you can get your money back and move on. That's what I would do anyway.

I don't know anything about them. Do you know the dealer they bought the truck from? If you do I would call them and see what they say about the missing signature. 30 days is way to long. I would definitely get my money back and make them come to pick it up. If they don't like it threaten to go legal.

I know of people that have had to renew a temp tag because of title problems. I wouldn't worry too much, yet. As mentioned try to find out the name of the first dealer. Prob a large dealer that sold the car at an auction.
